An hour spent with a blasting cabinet and a can of zinc-rich primer, and the horns look nice. A coat of black paint and they're good to go. If I got all the sand out, that is. A tip: put a rag or something in the hole to keep sand out, otherwise you have to turn and shake the horn a lot. The spiralling tube seems to go on forever...
