As early MGB (three synchro gearbox) floorboards only come as repair panels and not as "original pattern" I had to cut down the edges and make a flange tool to shape them. Then I had to make tools to press the drain hole covers and weld these, plus nuts for the seats and studs for the cable and pipe brackets, to the floor. The front of the pressing closest to the transmission tunnel had to be remade to clear the flange, as well as the rear of the one closest to the sill to admit correct enough placement of the rear right seat nut.
