A step back from the engine bay, this is what the car looks like. It feels good knowing it is solid and that the most crucial parts are done. Still lots of time needs to be put in though, it is still far from "Some assembly required"... It's dad's Frogeye Sprite to the left, a project for the future. It got a push recently, when I stumbled upon a mildly damaged original bonnet on an Internet marketplace. When he bought the car, it had an Ashley fibreglass bonnet which, although "sportier", he never seemed to like much.
