The windshield had a pretty large stone chip, as new ones cost quite a bit I decided to try a repair kit I found on eBay. Considering the size of the damage the result was good enough for now. When I took the windshield out of storage to do the repair I found it had far more scratches than I remembered, so I think I will have to replace it sometime.
