When I rolled the car out of storage to take a picture with the half-a-car I bought I failed to realise the steering lock was on and turned the wheel anyway. As I had only fitted the steering column with one bolt using a piece of angle iron the momentum made the whole thing turn, damaging some paint and breaking the ignition key off as it hit the tube the rack was bolted to. This is measurements, sketch iterations and steel cut-outs for a pair of new and improved mounts.
