Engine stand number two was more unlike the first one than just the angles between the tubes being different, the hub tube had a smaller internal diameter. As this stand had been holding my engine up for a while I had not been able to measure more than the external diameter and while this is the same on both stands apparently the tube itself is much thicker on the second one. I had to take a bit more than 0.75 mm out, and I only found an old and bent adjustable drill bit to help me. The cutting part itself was to long to go into a hole 60 mm in diameter, so I made a new and shorter one from a worn out drill bit.
