The lower part of the upright must be able to slide in the outer tube, so I only added round bar to widen it in one direction.This should make the fit acceptable, but maybe I will add small pieces of thinner sheet steel later as I realized when drilling holes through inner and outer tubes that this might help with getting the holes straight.
It would seem I forgot to take pictures when I welded the second upright. I guess this is mostly because when I did the second one I used the detailed pictures of how I did things on the first one and had no real use for new pictures. :)
