Ground down and primed it looks like this area will need only minimal filling. Of course I trial fitted the quarterlight with window channel, as it fits very close to this area. It appears my doors are a bit mix-and-matched with early quarterlights mounted to door frames with mounting points for later items, which means both frames and quarterlights are reshaped to fit together. The internal arm rests are also of the earlier, and in my opinion much nicer looking, type.
