Few updates this summer. Apart from what's mentioned earlier, I have mounted a new front crossmember, after a fair bit of modification, welded nuts for the fuel pump, made a hole for the battery cut-off switch, lead loaded the joins between the rear wings and the rear valance and welded up some small "to-dos" here and there. Finally I made a wooden frame supported on top of the front and rear bulkheads, flipped the body upside down and strapped the frame to a wheeled steel frame, making the body easy to shift when I then drove it off to be blasted. Oh, and I bought a new auto-darkening welding helmet! The best gift I've given myself in forever. I really should make myself deserve gifts more often...
