I guess the project has slid into the engine-out-stage. Next I'll sandblast the underside and engine bay; the plan was to get the car on the road and do this part as a later summer-project. At least this way the car will really be finished when it is finished, but the first drive in the car looking good from the outside will be longer into the future. She will, actually. Look good, that is. Really good!
